Organic farming & Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Certification

In order to learn and practice the new techniques and uplifting the existing organic farming practices, there is a training center and model farm in all four village where women shareholders can participate in the training, practice in the model farm and apply the learning in their own fields. There are total 201 farmers who have already been PGS certified where they grow 100% organic vegetables in the lands they have separated for PGS farming. In close supervision with expert from HASERA, agriculture technician from SWI and inspection committee from village, PGS farming is being monitored where the PGS farmer’s products will be labelled as organic and supplied in the market.
